Repairing Accident Vehicle

The damages in the vehicle body caused by an accident may be different in nature and severity. Therefore, it is rather difficult to give specific and detailed instruction on body repair. If the body is very badly damaged, then take off all easily removable inner panelings. It will provide a clear vision of parts during repair and alignment operations. Check the floor alignment and the position of front and rear suspension attachment points. This is done with a fixture after removing all mechanical units from under the vehicle. This fixture consists of three parts which are connected in a single assembly. The front part serves to connect the front to the rear part for the overall check of the entire floor. The rear part serves to check the leaf spring mounting support position.

After repairing the body and before lfe-installing the inner pannellings, inspect accurately all points where water and dust in filtrations are likely to occur. Sealing compounds with a suitable gum on such points.
